I purchased this guitar for a Christmas present to my five-year old son in 2006, the finger board of which is too wide for him.

The bridge piece can be removed easily.

I shortened the bridge to lower the strings height. (About 2.5mm less than original)
Otherwise, it is too hard to play like electric guitars.
